USEFUL DATA

Numbers that add up, currencies that do not mix.

Amounts arrive as numbers, not text, so they sum and chart without cleanup. Currency has its own column so you never add pesos to dollars, and dates arrive in your account time zone as YYYY-MM-DD.

  • Quotes: number, client, status, date, valid until, currency, subtotal, discount, taxes, total, collected and link
  • Invoices: number, client, status, tax status, date, due date, currency, total, paid, balance and link
  • Frozen, filtered header row

Sort, filter and add your own columns.

Cord finds each document by its number in column A, not by row position. You can sort, filter and add your own columns to the right without breaking the sync. Data goes into real Excel tables, with filters and formulas by column name.

  • The row is replaced, not duplicated
  • A new document is added at the end
  • Deleting the first row breaks nothing

How to connect Microsoft Excel

    Connect

    In Settings › Integrations › Microsoft Excel click Connect Excel and authorize with your account.

  2. 2

    Cord creates the file

    When you come back, Cord creates the file and fills it with what you already had.

  3. 3

    Open it

    Click Open the spreadsheet. From then on, every status change is written on its own.

We'd rather you read it here than find out halfway through.

  • Cord creates its own file; it does not yet write to a sheet you already have.
  • Sync goes from Cord to the sheet: editing a row does not change the document in Cord.
