Morning, Andrés. We went over it with the site manager and it looks good. Can you add 60 bags of mortar and 40 bars of 1/2" rebar? If the price holds, we will approve it today.

Best, Raúl

FROM YOUR ADDRESS

Clients recognize the sender and reply to you.

Once you connect Gmail, the emails Cord sends to your clients go out from your account: they stay in your Sent folder and replies land in your inbox. If Gmail rejects a send, the email goes out from Cord so the invoice is not lost.

  • Quotes, invoices and payment reminders
  • Cord only asks permission to send; it does not read your email
  • A failed send goes out from Cord and the card asks you to reconnect

INSIDE GMAIL

The thread's quote, live, next to the email.

The Cord add-on shows whether the sender is already your client and, if the email is about a quote, its status and what last happened to it. From there you reply in the same thread with the quote or build a new one with AI from the order in the email.

  • Status and latest activity of the thread's quote
  • Reply in the same thread with the quote card

YOUR GOOGLE DATA

What Cord reads from your Google account, and what it does not.

Sending asks only for permission to send email and your address. The add-on reads only the email you have open: the sender, the subject and a quote number; the email text reaches Cord only when you click Quote with AI. Cord does not sell this data, does not use it for advertising or to train general AI models, and its use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

  • No access to your full inbox
  • Email text only when you ask for it
  • Revoke access anytime from Cord or your Google account

    Send a quote

Send it from Cord as usual: the email goes out from your address and shows up in your Sent folder.

NO SURPRISES

What it doesn't do yet

We'd rather you read it here than find out halfway through.

  • The Gmail add-on is not yet published on Google Workspace Marketplace; sending from your Gmail is available now.
  • Cord's internal notifications (to you and your team) still go out from Cord.
  • Gmail limits how many emails an account can send per day; sends beyond that limit go out from Cord.

QUESTIONS

Gmail and Cord

Not for sending: it only asks for permission to send. The add-on reads only the email you have open, and its text only when you click Quote with AI. It never reads your full inbox.

Emails to your clients go back to being sent from Cord, as before. You can also remove access from your Google account's security settings.

Yes, with Gmail and Google Workspace accounts. In Workspace, your administrator may need to allow the app.
