No deal goes cold for lack of follow-up
A quote nobody follows up on is lost even if the client was interested. Cord tasks turn each follow-up into a to-do with an owner and a date, in the same place the deal lives.
What it includes
- Owner, due date and priority: every task has who it belongs to, when it is due and whether it is urgent. Without choosing an owner, it belongs to whoever typed it.
- Grouped by urgency: overdue, today, tomorrow, this week, later and no date, based on the day in your business's time zone, not the server's.
- Capture in seconds: from Home, from the Tasks page, or with the T key on any screen, with Today, Tomorrow and Monday date shortcuts.
- Complete with Undo, snooze and edit: without reloading the page; and if the server rejects a change, the task doesn't disappear.
- Linked to the document: a task created from a quote or invoice shows its number and the client as a link.
- Morning reminder: from 8:00 in your time zone, each owner gets a single email with their tasks due today and overdue. Turn it off in Settings › Notifications.
- Tasks Cord creates for you: responding to a chargeback and sending the refund of a bank transfer collected on a quote (SPEI or with a reference) arrive with high priority.
Automatable too
Workflows, the API (POST /api/v1/tareas) and the MCP server create tasks; each one emits task.created and, when completed, task.completed.
How it works
Capture the task with a date, priority and owner, or let a workflow, the API or a chargeback create it.
The team sees it grouped by urgency on Home and in Tasks, and completes, snoozes or reassigns it without reloading.
Every morning, each owner gets an email with what is due today and overdue.
Availability and scope
Tasks with owner, priority, notes and a due date on the business's calendar day; their own page with filters and completed tasks, a sidebar counter and a daily email reminder that can be turned off.
Clear limits
The reminder is one email per person per day, with no Slack or Teams alert. The API creates tasks, but assigning, completing and deleting them happens in the app. Deleting a task cannot be undone.
