Your sales, in a card inside your Teams channel.

Sign in with your Microsoft work account and pick the channel, or paste a Power Automate flow URL. Your channel gets a card when a quote moves forward, without anyone opening Cord.

TWO WAYS TO CONNECT

With your Microsoft account or your channel's flow.

With Connect with Microsoft you sign in with your work or school account and pick the team and channel from the lists, with no URL to copy; the card is posted as the person who connected. If you would rather the channel post it, you create a Power Automate flow from the "Post to a channel when a webhook request is received" template and paste its URL. Either way, you click Send test and a sample card appears.

  • Connect with Microsoft, a new feature
  • Power Automate, the current path since Microsoft retired Incoming Webhooks
  • Only one connection active at a time

EACH CHANNEL SEPARATELY

Some events to Teams, others to email or Slack.

In Settings › Notifications you tick the Teams column on the events you want: quote viewed, approved, rejected, paid, expiring and payment overdue. Each channel is ticked separately. With the Send a Teams message action in Cord Workflows you post your own text with event data.

  • Email, Slack and Teams as independent columns
  • Your own messages from Cord Workflows
  • The workflow posts even with those alerts off

NO SURPRISES

What it doesn't do yet

We'd rather you read it here than find out halfway through.

  • Connect with Microsoft needs a Microsoft 365 work or school account: personal accounts have no channels. If your organization does not let people authorize apps on their own, an administrator will have to approve Cord.
  • Only one connection can be active: picking a channel with your account replaces the flow, and saving a flow disconnects your account.
  • If the flow is turned off or deleted in Teams, Cord cannot post until you turn it on or paste a new URL.

QUESTIONS

Microsoft Teams and Cord

No. With Connect with Microsoft you pick the channel from Cord and the card is posted in your name. Power Automate is the alternative if you would rather a channel flow post it: Microsoft retired Office 365 Incoming Webhooks, and a flow URL is the current way to post to a channel.

Quote viewed, approved, rejected, paid, expiring and payment overdue. You tick them in Settings › Notifications, separately from Slack and email.

Yes, with the Send a Teams message action in Cord Workflows, using event data such as {{cliente}}, {{folio}} or {{total}}. It posts even with Notifications alerts turned off.

If you connected with Microsoft and Settings asks you to reconnect, sign in again. If you use a flow, it was usually turned off or deleted in Teams: open it in Workflows and turn it on, or create another and paste the new URL in Cord.
