Take every Cord sale into your Make scenarios.

The Cord app for Make starts your scenarios the moment something happens in Cord and creates or updates data in Cord from them. It is authorized in one click, with no API keys.

ONE-CLICK AUTHORIZATION

Create the connection and authorize in Cord. That's it.

In a scenario you add any Cord module, click Create a connection and a Cord screen opens where you pick the workspace and authorize. Make renews access on its own and, to cut it, you revoke the connection from Settings › Developer mode › API. Authorization returns to the Make zone you came from.

  • OAuth 2.0, no keys to paste
  • Works in every Make zone
  • Revocable from Cord at any time

WATCH EVENTS

The scenario starts the moment the client approves or pays.

Watch Events registers its own webhook in Cord with the events you choose and has an allowance separate from your plan's endpoints. Each event carries its id, its type, when it happened and the object data (for a quote: number, status, currency, total, client and public link).

  • Events for quotes, payments, invoices and clients
  • The event id does not change between retries
  • An allowance separate from your plan's webhooks

BACK INTO CORD

Create clients and quotes from any scenario.

Actions create, update and get clients; create, get, send and mark quotes as paid; and create tasks. For everything else, Make an API Call calls any Cord API operation with the same connection. If you would rather not install the app, Make's Webhooks and HTTP modules cover the same cases.

  • Create a Client, Update a Client, Get a Client
  • Create, Get, Send and Mark as Paid for quotes
  • Create a Task for your team

NO SURPRISES

What it doesn't do yet

We'd rather you read it here than find out halfway through.

  • Make only lets Administrators, Owners or App Developers of the Make organization install apps.
  • The app is shared by invitation from Settings; it is not in Make's public catalog yet.
  • Make does not verify the signature of Cord webhooks: treat a Make webhook URL as a secret.

QUESTIONS

Make and Cord

Not with the Cord app: it is authorized through OAuth on a Cord screen. You only need a key if you prefer Make's generic HTTP modules over the app.

Watch Events as an instant trigger; the actions Create a Client, Update a Client, Get a Client, Create a Quote, Get a Quote, Send a Quote, Mark a Quote as Paid and Create a Task; the paginated searches Search Clients and Search Quotes; and Make an API Call for any other operation.

Yes. The app works in every Make zone and authorization returns to the zone you came from.

If Make does not respond, Cord retries delivery with the same event id. Add a filter or a data store keyed by that id to your scenario so it is not processed twice.
