Your preferences
How you see Cord and which notices you get, without changing anything for the rest of the team.
Open Settings › Your account › Preferences. You don’t need any permission: each person has their own. Each change saves right away and follows you on any computer or browser where you sign in.
Interface
| Preference | What it does |
|---|---|
| Theme | Light, dark or same as system. The theme button in the top bar changes this same preference. |
| Interface language | Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, German or the company’s. It only changes what you see: your clients keep receiving quotes, invoices, PDFs and messages in their document language, the one each client has in their record or, if they have none, the company’s, chosen in Settings › General. |
| Home page | Where you land when you open Cord (when you sign in, from a bookmark or by typing the address). Home stays in the sidebar and takes you to the usual dashboard. |
| Developer mode | Shows the Developers category in Settings and the developer console. |
My email notices
For each notice you choose All, Only mine or None:
- Only mine means the quotes you created.
- Someone joined the team isn’t tied to a document: there it’s only All or None.
- Notices belong to the organization you’re in: if you belong to several, you choose in each one.
- Each email reaches you in the interface language you chose.
For each notice you haven’t changed:
- The owner gets what the company had checked for email in Settings › Notifications. If it was never saved, they get approved, rejected and paid quotes.
- The rest of the team gets their own approved, rejected and paid quotes.
Slack, Microsoft Teams and the task reminder are set up for the whole team in Notifications.
