Import your catalog

Upload your products, SKUs, and prices so you can create B2B quotes in seconds.

Manage your SKUs easily

The heart of a B2B quote is product accuracy. Cord allows you to manage a centralized catalog where your sales team simply searches and selects, ensuring the name, SKU, and tax base are always correct.

1. Manual Creation

If you have a small catalog or sell services, you can add products one by one from Products > New Product. You will be asked for the following data:

  • Product / Service Name
  • SKU (Internal Code): Unique identifier, optional.
  • Unit: piece, service, hour, m², kg… whichever you sell by.
  • Description: free text that accompanies the product on the quote.
  • Sale Price (Before taxes): the list price.
  • Internal Cost (Optional): If you enter how much the product costs you, Cord will calculate and show you the Profit Margin in real-time when building the quote. Your client will never see this cost.
  • Volume Pricing (Optional): Vital in B2B. You can set up automatic rules, for example: “From 1 to 10 pieces the price is $100, from 11 to 50 pieces the price drops to $85”. Cord will automatically adjust the price based on the quantity the sales rep adds to the quote.
  • Status (Active / Inactive): If you discontinue a product or run out of stock long-term, you can mark it as Inactive so sales reps can no longer add it to new quotes, without deleting its history.

Tax doesn’t live on the product. Cord calculates tax per quote line, not per catalog item — the same product can be sold taxed in one deal and exempt in another (an export, a tax-exempt client). You pick the rate from your account’s tax catalog (Settings > Quotes) when you add the line item; the tax name follows your country (VAT, IVA, GST, Moms…), never a generic label. See Products and discounts for how this applies when quoting.

2. Bulk Import (CSV)

For companies with hundreds or thousands of references, Cord supports bulk import. Download our CSV Template (columns sku, name, unit, price, active), paste the information extracted from your ERP (such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsip), and upload it to Cord to create prices, SKUs, and descriptions in a single move.

Tip: Do your prices change constantly? With the Cord Public API (Developers), you can synchronize your catalog in real-time. If you update a price in your ERP, a webhook or API call can automatically update it in Cord, ensuring your salespeople always quote with the current price list.

The product profile

The catalog (Products in the main menu) has quick filters (active, inactive, with volume pricing, missing cost, low margin) so you can find what you need without scrolling a long list.

Click any product to open its profile: closed amount and units sold, close rate, price realization (the lowest, average, and highest price actually charged against the list price), list margin vs. realized margin over historical sales, its volume pricing ladder, who buys it most, its recent quotes, and which kits include it — all computed from your real history, not just the data you entered when creating it.
